The Financial Services Authority is the independent regulator
set up by the Government to look after the financial services
industry and protect consumers.
1 Stop Travel Insurance is a division of Drakefield Insurance
Services Limited which is authorised and regulated by the Financial
Services Authority. All firms engaging in the selling of General
Insurance which includes travel insurance are required by law to be
regulated by the Financial Services Authority. The Financial
Services Authority lays down in its rules the way that regulated
firms: -
- Promote, sell and administer general insurance products
- Deal with complaints
- Handle client monies
- Recruit, supervise and train their staff
- Provide minimum levels of capital and professional
indemnity
